Co-Op Application Process

Congratulations on your decision to apply for the co-op program! For best results, we encourage students to join early in the semester. Before applying, please read the information below. Your Co-op program application can be submitted on our CareerBuzz system by completing your Experiential Learning Application which can be found in "My Quicklinks" on your Home Page in CareerBuzz.

Eligibility:

Entering freshmen and transfer students are eligible to apply without restriction during their first semester at Georgia Tech. Freshmen are not eligible to begin a co-op rotation until they have completed at least one semester of school.

In-school applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a 2.00 or above GPA
  • Be in good academic standing
  • Have at least three school semesters remaining after the first work term.
  • Be enrolled full-time the semester prior to the first work term (Summer is an exception).

Seniors must obtain a letter from their major school indicating the number of school terms to be completed before graduation. This letter should be e-mailed to their Career Development Advisor.

Students who are too close to graduation to complete the three work term minimum are encouraged to join the Georgia Tech Internship Program (GTIP).
